Option 1: Asan Barrage
Drive: Lodge– Asan Barrage (1.5 Hour) – Lodge
A quick 1.5 hour drive from our lodge leads to Asan Barrage. Nestled in Doon Valley, it is located near Uttarakhand- Himachal Pradesh border. A true delight for adventure enthusiasts and bird watchers, the beautiful Asan lake amidst lush forest is worth exploring. One can also add a dash of adventure with activities like boating, kayaking, nature walks and much more!
Option 2: Ashokan edict in Kalsi
Drive: Lodge – Ashokan Edict (1- 1.5 Hour) – Lodge
A quick 1-1.5 hours drive (35 km) from our lodge leads to Ashoka’s Edict.We halt at the Kalsi market and walk for 5-10 minutes to visit the legendary Ashokan edict. It was constructed in 450 BC. Situated next to Yamuna river, the edict scripts the human approach after war, when Ashoka imbibed Buddhism. This historically significant monument is protected by the archaeological department of India.
We recommend that you choose this experience while heading towards the lodge or while driving back.
Option 3: Deoban
Drive: Lodge – Deoban (2 Hours) – Lodge
Fleeting through forest trails along with the panoramic view of the Himalayas, we drive for 2 hours (40 km) to reach Deoban (2800 m/ 9186 ft). We halt at the forest guesthouse. For best exploration in Deoban, one may choose an easy hike of 15-20 minutes to the highest vantage point, called Vyas Shikhar.
Set at an altitude of 3000m/ 9842 ft, Vyas Shikhar offers promising views of the Himalayan peaks of Kandariya Mahadev, Swargarohini, Ranglana, Banderpoonch. While driving back to the lodge, we visit the Chakrata town. One can take a stroll in the local market or enjoy shopping for traditional clothes and pulses.
Option 4.Visit to Tiger Falls
Drive: Lodge – Tiger Falls (1.5 Hours)
A quick 1.5 hours drive from our lodge leads to Tiger Falls. It is one of the highest waterfall in Uttarakhand, set at an elevation of 3612 ft. The name Tiger falls is a direct translation of the locally known name “Kerao Pacchad”. The name derived from the fact that the water falls in a roaring sound (like that of a tiger) when it reaches a 100 m lake below.

- Winters: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
During the activity the following will be provided:
- Car for shuttle services during the day tour
- Packed lunch
- First aid box
Please remember to carry the following:
- Comfortable Trekking/Hiking shoes (shoes with a thick sole are recommended)
- Water bottle
- Sun glasses
- Medicines, if requiring any specific medication
- Day pack/small bag which you will carry on your back every day and keep your essentials in it
- Keep a few poly bags or waterproof bags in your bag in which if required you can put your belongings in case of heavy rain
- Camera if you like (with fully charged batteries)
